Shella has been sponsored since March 2009 by Annette from the UK. She is 17 years old and is currently attending Form 2 of secondary school. Her mother died in 2001 and her father died a month later. She is currently living with her grandmother.
This summer, Shella and her brother Rogan were helping her out with corn harvesting, and clearing and ploughing the farm for the new season. This only happened a few days per week, because they were also attending the lessons of the After School Education Program.
